Lambeau Field was literally a rock-hard frozen tundra, and I’m sure I wouldn’t have made it 10 minutes out there. But Eli Manning somehow put the Giants in position to win the NFC championship and head to Arizona for the Super Bowl!
As we all know, Lawrence Tynes came through for us (at last) when he made the game winning 47-yard field goal. But this was only after missing a 43-yarder with 6:49 to go and then a potentially game winning 36-yarder at the end of regulation.
So After all is said and done, the Giants are going to the Super Bowl and Lawrence James Henry Tynes proved you can be both a hero and a bum!
